Upon the conclusion of Tampa Bay’s final Spring Training game against the Detroit Tigers in Tropicana Field, Tricia Whitaker’s “Rays Prospect Spotlight” will make it’s 2019 debut, continuing the long running program from Fox Sports Sun.

The show will tell the stories of the players in the pipeline and their Minor League affiliate teams. Filmed on location from Spring Training in Port Charlotte, Tuesday’s premiere features host Tricia Whitaker highlighting three of the team’s top young prospects in pitcher Brent Honeywell Jr., first baseman Nate Lowe and pitcher Colin Poche.

FOX Sports Sun followed all three players from the start of Spring Training on February 13 through the month of March, and each prospect’s story and development provide viewers an opportunity to experience life in a Major League camp.

Rays Manager Kevin Cash, Pitching Coach Kyle Snyder, Hitting Coach Chad Mottola, pitchers Tyler Glasnow, Ryne Stanek, Ryan Yarbrough, catcher Mike Zunino, infielders Brandon Lowe and Joey Wendle, along with Brent’s father, Brent Honeywell Sr., were also interviewed for the season’s first episode.

The program will be available on FOX Sports Sun and FOX Sports GO,
