Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Rays fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

Another week, another survey.

The Tampa Bay Rays are off to the best start in franchise history, with one of the best pitching stretches the team has seen in nearly 20 years. They are currently in first place in the American League East with a record of 5-2, winning five straight games in a row before an extra-innings single-run loss to the Rockies.

This week’s question was ‘Are Rays fans confident in the direction of the team?’

The results were nearly unanimous with 97% of those surveyed answering that they were confident in the team’s direction.

The 97% confidence in the Rays direction is an 8% increase from last week’s 89% total.

The Rays pitching staff has been incredible and the hitting has been timely. Blake Snell delivered one of the best starts of his career, while Ryne Stanek made the season debut of the Opener and picked up three strikeouts.

Truly exciting times lie ahead for the Tampa Bay Rays.
