Rains and opposing pitchers kept Rays hitting prospects quiet. Nick Solak was the only batter who collected multiple hits and Vidal Brujan stole two bags.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (1-4)
The Durham Bulls fell to the Gwinnett Stripers 7-2. The Bulls offense was quieted by one of the Atlanta Braves top pitching prospects Kolby Allard. The Bulls collected four singles on the night with two by Nick Solak. Ryan Merritt didn’t make it out of the first inning after allowing six runs on seven hits. The Bulls bullpen allowed one run in 7.1 innings, but the damage had been done.

The Montgomery Biscuits game against the Chattanooga Lookouts was postponed due to rain.
Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (2-3)
The Charlotte Stone Crabs lost to the Bradenton Marauders 6-1. The Stone Crabs responded quickly to a first inning run by the Marauders. Vidal Brujan led off the first with a single up the middle and stole second base before scoring on a Ronaldo Hernandez single. Brujan later stole a second base of the game giving him four on the season. A four run fourth inning gave the Marauders a 5-1 lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
