Baseball has a lot of rules, both written and unwritten, and some of them make a lot of sense, while others are befuddling. They’re also constantly changing and adding new ones, to a point where it’s sometimes hard to keep up.
Every time a rule is changed, like the intentional walk rule for example, there’s a lot of uproar about it, but ultimately they very rarely change anything major about the game. However something like the proposed idea of a universal DH would shake things up quite a bit.
This week’s FanPost prompt is all about making better baseball rules. We want to know how you would change baseball for the better. Is it a brand new rule (perhaps like forcing everyone to play in a dome), or a tweak to an existing one? Is it about pace of play? Player safety? Your own amusement?
Head over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and tell us how you would change baseball if you could.
