With a series split in Kansas City, the Rays head to Baltimore to take on Dan Straily and the Orioles, and would have MLB’s A.L. Rookie of April and Pitcher of April both in the lineup.

Rays got a quick lead with back to back doubles by Brandon Lowe and Tommy Pham, the second coming off an excuse-me-check-swing.
Shrug we’ll take it! 1-0 Rays!
Kevin Kiermaier opened the 2nd Inning with a triple, and slid into 3B head first, but seemed to be okay and would stay in the game. Phew.

But it would be a wasted effort as Dan Straily would get Zunino to pop out, Adames to strike out on 3 pitches, and Brandon Lowe to pop out.
Rays opened the 4th inning with singles by Nate Lowe & Avi Garcia. Kevin Kiermaier would send a long fly ball to move Nate Lowe to 3rd and Mike “Is Good” Zunino came to the plate.

“Siri - how do I make a text tone?”
4-0 Rays
Two singles by Adames and Lowe, and a walk by Pham loaded the bases for Ji-Man Choi who increased the Rays lead with a sac fly to score Wily Adames and make it 5-0 Rays.
In the 6th inning Rays were able to add more runs after Willy Adames score on a Tommy Pham single to make it, and Nate Lowe scored Brandon Lowe on a sac fly to make it 7-0 Rays after 6 innings.
It was nice to see the Rays offense wake up, even if it was against Baltimore. Every Ray reached base tonight.
- Willy Adames: 2 for 3, 1 BB, 2 R
- Tommy Pham: 3 for 4, 1 BB, 2 RBI
- Brandon Lowe: 2 for 4, 1 BB, 2 RBI
Only players to not register hits were Yandy Diaz, and Ji-Man Choi, but they did make a couple of great plays including this split stretch by Choi:
My thighs hurt watching that
Tyler Glasnow
I mean do I have to even say anything here? Glasnow was absolutely filthy. Where do I begin?
It took @TGlasnow exactly 3 pitches into May to get his first K. #RaysUp pic.twitter.com/Xm7JNMnqyg

Absolute dominance.
7.0 IP, 3 H, 8 K, and ZERO walks. 2 of those hits were barely out of the infield. 92 pitches total with 62 being strikes. He had the Orioles batters guessing all night.
If you want a full video of all strikeouts:
Casey Sadler came on and continued the shutout with 2.0 IP 2 H, 2 Ks & no walks.
Offense, defense and pitching was firing on all cylinders for the Rays.
FINAL: Rays: 7, Orioles: 0. Tyler Glasnow gets his 6th win and lowers his ERA to 1.47.
Rays go for the series win tomorrow by sending TBD against Dylan Bundy. Gametime is 7:05 PM
