Nick Solak homered twice and Joe McCarthy hit his second homer of the season for the Durham Bulls. Shane McClanahan struck out 10 in his first start since being promoted to Port Charlotte.
Triple-A Durham Bulls (39-26)
The Durham Bulls defeated the Toledo Mud Hens 6-1. Nick Solak put the Bulls up 3-0 with a three run shot in the first. In the fifth Solak added a two run homer to extend the lead to 5-1. In the fifth Joe McCarthy hit his second homer of the season. Ryan Merrit and Casey Sadler combined to shut down the Mud Hen offense.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (40-25)
The Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Chattanooga Lookouts 7-1. In the second Tristan Gray hit a two-run homer to put the Biscuits up 2-0. Brett Sullivan added an RBI double in the fourth. Later in the inning Sullivan stole home as part of a double steal with Lucius Fox. Fox hit an RBI triple in the sixth and scored on a Robbie Tenerowicz single to push the lead to 6-0. In the seventh Kevin Padlo hit an RBI double to cap off the scoring. Kenny Rosenberg threw 8.0 strong innings with the only damage coming on a solo homer.

Class A-Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (34-31)
The Charlotte Stone Crabs defeated the Bradenton Marauders 5-3 in the completion of a suspended game from Tuesday evening. Carl Chester hit a RBI single in the third to tie the game at one. Taylor Walls gave the Stone Crabs their first lead with a sacrifice fly in the fourth. The Stone Crabs rallied for three runs in the sixth with a Moises Gomez sacrifice fly, Jim Haley RBI single, and Ronaldo Hernandez RBI double to take a 5-2 lead.

In game two the Stone Crabs fell to the Marauders 2-1. Shane McClanahan made his Florida State League debut with an impressive 10 strikeout performance. Ronaldo Hernandez put the Stone Crabs up 1-0 in the first with a sacrifice fly, but couldn’t hold as the Marauders hit a walk-off two run homer in the bottom of the seventh.

The DSL Rays 2 defeated the DSL Dodgers Shoemaker 19-7 in 11 innings. The Rays 2 couldn’t hold onto a 6-4 lead in the ninth. The teams traded single runs in the tenth before the Rays 2 burst out for 12 runs in the eleventh.
