The Rays have four selections Monday night as the 2019 draft gets underway.

Once again, the Rays have a crucial draft. The Rays have a couple extra picks Monday — both in the competitive-balance round.

When: Monday, June 3, 6 p.m. (preview show) 7 p.m. (draft)

Over the last couple weeks, we previewed some potential selections:

College pitchers
Corner bats
High school pitchers
Up-the-middle bats

The Rays can spend up to $10,333,800 on their picks.

The Orioles will be on the clock with the No. 1 pick. Oregon State catcher Adley Rutschman is the consensus top player available. It’s expected that there will be a run on position players to begin the draft.
