Rays sell out Friday night flash tickets

In an effort to get more fans out to see their contending team, the Rays announced a “flash sale,” offering $5 tickets for five home games next week, as we reported yesterday.

As of Wednesday morning, those $5 tickets for the Friday night game against the Angels seem to have been sold out — the June 14 game is no longer listed on the flash sale site.

Discounted tickets (they are in the corners and the outfield) can still be purchased for the Monday - Wednesday games against the Athletics as well as the Thursday night game against the Angels.

If you had your heart set on seeing Friday night’s game, you can still buy regularly priced tickets, which start at $15.
