Hudson Valley earned a 5-3 win over Mahoning Valley. For the second straight game, the Renegades’ starter was ejected early, but they still limited the Scrappers to four hits. Rookie Gulf Coast League Rays (8-8)

The GCL Rays cruised to an 8-0 win over the GCL Braves in the resumption of their suspended game. They did most of their damage early in the game, scoring six runs in the first four innings, starting with Edgardo Rodriguez’s RBI double in the first. Blake Pflughaupt struck out four in two scoreless innings, and Tobias Myers pitched three hitless innings.

They completed the sweep with a 2-1 win in Game 2. The Braves scored first in JJ Goss’ second professional start, but their defense was their undoing. Both Rays runs were unearned due to errors. Goss struck out three and allowed a run in two innings.
