Once again, customers take a hit as the content and service providers duke it out.

For those of you who rely on your Sling TV or Dish for your baseball fix, we have some bad news for you: Dish and their streaming subsidiary Sligh TV are (at least temporarily) being dropped from your package.

This comes after a short extension was reached just this passed weekend. But apparently talks have broken down, which is not good news for fans.

Per Cord Cutter’s News, Dish has provided the below in advance of the outages:

DISH and Sling’s goal is to keep the FOX Regional Sports Networks available to our customers at a reasonable cost. We are unsure why the FOX RSN group, currently owned by Disney and in the process of being sold to Sinclair, decided to involve customers in the contract negotiation process at a point when there is still time for the two parties to reach a mutually beneficial deal.

As one of those fans who cut the cord and subscribes to Sling TV solely for the RSN’s this obviously ticks me off. But you should know that there all alternatives, many of which offer free trials.
