Triple-A Durham Bulls (68-53)
The Durham Bulls lost to the Syracuse Mets 5-4. Trevor Richards threw 2.0 scoreless innings as he works himself back to a bigger workload. The Mets scored three runs in the third to take a 3-0 lead. That would last until the seventh. Emilio Bonifacio walked with the bases loaded to score the first run for Durham. The second run of the inning scored on a RBI groundout by Kean Wong. Syracuse extended the lead to 5-2 in the eighth. Jason Coats two run homer in the ninth brought the Bulls within one, but the rally fell short.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (78-44)
The Montgomery Biscuits defeated the Jackson Generals 5-4. Joe Ryan had one of his worst outings of the year in his first AA start. He went 4.0 innings allowing three runs including a homer. He did strike out four and didn’t issue a walk. After falling behind 3-0 Jim Haley’s fielder’s choice scored the first run of the game for the Biscuits in the fourth inning. In the fifth Tristan Gray’s bases loaded walk drove in the second run cutting the Generals lead to 3-2. Down 4-2 in the eighth, Tristan Gray’s two run homer tied the game. Carl Chester’s first AA homer scored the game winning run in the ninth.

The Orioles scored two runs in the sixth. The Rays answered with a RBI single off the bat of Julio Meza in the seventh, but rain ended the game in the eighth inning before the Rays could complete the comeback.

Bryan Santos’ RBI single gave the Rays 1 a lead and Mario Fernandez’s bases loaded hit by pitch put a second run on the board. In the eighth the Dodgers Bautista answered with two runs to tie the game. In the tenth the Dodgers Bautista scored two runs and the Rays 1 couldn’t tie the game in the bottom of the inning.
