The Tampa Bay Rays successfully completed the sweep of the Boston Red Sox with a 9-4 victory in last night’s contest. Newcomers Jesus Aguilar and Nick Anderson made their debuts and both impressed. Aguilar reached base four times as Anderson pitched the 8th—and lit up the radar gun while doing so.
After tomorrow, the Rays welcome the Marlins for two over the weekend and the Blue Jays for three more. The Rays don’t play a team above .500 until the 27th.
