Triple-A Durham Bulls (75-64)

The Durham Bulls dropped game two of the Governor’s Cup Finals to the Columbus Clippers 7-4 and trail 2-0 in the series. The Bulls fell behind early allowing a grand slam in the first. Through five innings the Bulls were down 7-0. Jason Coats hit a solo homer in the top of the sixth for the Bulls first run. In the seventh the Bulls rallied with RBI singles by Nathan Lukes, Jake Cronenworth, and Emilio Bonifacio to cut the deficit to 7-4.
