Last night, the Tampa Bay Rays fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers thanks to a disastrous seventh inning in which the Dodgers tallied five of their seven runs en route to victory.
On the bright side for the Rays, Blake Snell made his return and was dominant over his two innings of work as he racked up four strikeouts and didn’t allow a baserunner. Also, Ji-Man Choi launched his 16th home run of the season and Jesus Aguilar showed off his power stroke with a blast to center field in the eighth to cap the Rays offensive contributions.
Tonight, the Rays will send Brendan McKay to the hill as they look to split their brief two game series with Los Angeles; first pitch is slated for 8:10.
