After yesterday’s thrilling win, the Tampa Bay Rays now own the second wild card spot.
The game, which featured a four run comeback thanks to a three homer inning by the offense, showed the Rays playing some truly inspired baseball.
Now, while the Rays control their own destiny, it will be hardly easy from here on out. While the Rays stay at home for one last series, they will face off against division Rival New York Yankees, a team still competing for the coveted home field advantage.
The Indians, on the other hand, play an up and coming, yet struggling White Sox team, albeit in the road. Past that, the Rays finish the season in Toronto, while the Indians close theirs out against the surging Nationals.
