FanPost Friday: What is your biggest takeaway from the 2019 Rays’ season?

This has been a heck of a year.

The 2019 regular season comes to an end on Sunday, and hopefully for the Rays it’s just the start of their trek into October baseball.

But as we await learning the Rays’ postseason future, let’s reflect on things we can learn from the regular season. Was it perhaps the surprise we had from signings like d’Arnaud and Garcia, or the way young players like Meadows and Lowe have performed? Maybe it’s the way the Rays are evolving the bullpen role to fit with a more standard pitching lineup, or perhaps it’s just that signing Charlie Morton was a really, really good idea.

With this, the last regular FanPost prompt of the season (look forward to a “Best of the Best” post next week), we want you to tell us what you saw this season, and what hopes (or fears) it gives you going into to 2020.

Head over to the FanPost section, select New FanPost on the left, and tell use what lessons 2019 taught you.

Shoutout to raysfaninminnesota who rallied around my “build a Rays’ cocktail” prompt with “The Pruitt Penicillin.
