ALDS Game 3: Boston Red Sox v. Tampa Bay Rays

The Tampa Bay Rays are on the brink of returning to the postseason for the first time since winning the American League Wild Card in 2013, and the team is already preparing for their berth as tickets will be available for both the potential tie-breaker game and the Wild Card game. The tie-breaker tickets are already available for purchase, while the Wild Card game tickets will go live at 4:00 p.m.

With a Cleveland defeat and Tampa Bay Rays victory on Friday, the Rays could punch their ticket to the postseason to take on the Oakland Athletics in the American League Wild Card game. Where those two teams would play is still to be determined as the Wild Card battle rages over the final weekend.

If the Rays were to be able to overcome the Athletics over these final few days (the A’s hold the tiebreaker, so it would take finishing above Oakland), the Wild Card game will be played at Tropicana Field on Wednesday, October 2nd with the first pitch set for 8:09 PM.

The cheapest tickets available for the games are in the GTE Financial Party Deck with pricing for those seats starting at $20.

For the games, the Rays would also be allowing fans to sit in the upper deck, which had been closed off prior to the season.
