With the World Series now tied at one, Danny Russell, Darby Robinson, and Jamal Wilburg joined me on the show to break down Game 2. After criticizing Kevin Cash for his managerial decisions in Game 1, he managed a perfect game the very next night. From the pitching decisions, to the use of pinch runners and defensive replacements, Cash put the Rays in the best position to win.
Also... Brandon Lowe! The Rays regular season MVP broke out of his October slump in a big way, hitting two home runs to the opposite field. Let’s hope for more of that in the World Series. It feels good picking up a win headed into this off day. Now that we actually have off days, I’m kind of missing the rush of seven straight games. We’ll be back tomorrow.
