The squad is here.
Today, the rest of the Rays spring training roster officially reports to Port Charlotte and the first full team workouts begin.
Kevin Cash and the rest of the Rays management will spend the next five weeks trimming their roster of 67 players down to the 26 that they’ll open the season with against the Pittsburgh Pirates on March 26th at Tropicana Field.
Cash will have his work cut out for him in deciding which players he’ll leave on the Opening Day roster and what exactly their role with the team will be.
Here is my prediction with the Rays current roster of how they’ll start the season.
