FanPost Friday: Your boldest predictions for the 2020 season

It’s a weird time, so let’s get weird with our replies.

It has been about a week since baseball went dark, bu it feels like it has been roughly 10,000 years. I’ve started watching marble racing. We’re all starting to get a bit stir-crazy whether we’re in self-quarantine, social distancing, or have to work still and just need a distraction.

This is usually the week I would kick off our in-season FanPost Friday prompts, and we’ll still be doing that, but since there’s no ongoing baseball, we’re obviously going to need to adjust our ideas a litle. Normally my first question of the year would be to make some bold Rays predictions for the coming season. Obviously, we currently have no idea when that season will start, but there are enough rumors flying around to keep our heads spinning.

So with that in mind, our first FPF of the year asks you the question: What are your boldest predictions for the whole 2020 season? 81 games? 60? None at all? Will rosters need to expand? Will baseball be played into November? (no one would mock the dome then...)

Plenty of opportunities to have some fun with your vision for 2020, so head over to the FanPost section, select “New FanPost” on the left, and map out these uncharted waters.
