At the beginning of last week, when I released a podcast episode titled Snell Isle, I was suspecting we wouldn’t talk that much about Blake Snell on Rays Your Voice until the season starts. Then, just a few days later, Snell made comments about the return of baseball in 2020 that turned into national headlines. I wasn’t expecting to do back-to-back Snell episodes, but I am somewhat grateful because I really had no idea what I was going to talk about on the show this week.

To go into a little more detail and paint a better picture of what Snell’s comments entailed, and what they mean for the big picture when it comes to negotiations between Major League Baseball, the owners, and the Players Association, I had DRaysBay managing editor Danny Russell on the podcast. Getting a chance to bounce some questions off of Danny helped me get a better understanding of the situation, and I think it will have the same effect on you.

Rays Your Voice and the entire DRaysBay podcast feed is now available on all major podcast platforms! You can subscribe to that feed to have new episodes of Rays Your Voice and the Hit Show downloaded to your device.
