Welcome back to The Hit Show!
Danny, Darby, and Brett Phillips are back at it discussing the greatest Rays players in franchise history. Crack a cold one and lean back, because this is a bit of a long one!
We will be inviting the online Rays community to vote our way through the Greatest Rays of all time — or the most Beloved Rays if you’d like to look at it from another angle — with four divisions, and the second might be the most fun to discuss: The Glory Days.
The Glory Days begin in 2008 and stretch until Joe Maddon’s departure after the 2013 season.
I’ll be honest, it took us about ten minutes to get into the groove on this discussion given how hard it is to talk yourself out of Evan Longoria being the one-seed here, but I hope you’ll come along for the ride! There might not be a question who the No. 1 seed is, but man did we have some fun parsing through who makes the bracket!
For each of the four corners of the bracket, we will have a vote-in category for the player we missed. You can cast your vote here:
Which of these players deserve to fight for the number 16 seed?

Check out the other 15 players who made the Glory Days list on the pod. Once all four sections of the bracket are determined, we’ll release all of Round 1 for voting.
Go Rays!
