FanPost Friday: Who is on your ultimate classic All-Star team

But you can’t pick any Rays.

1952 All-Star Game: American League v National League

Happy Friday, one and all, we’re at the end of another week, baseball is still happening, the Rays have had some struggles to start the season, but there’s still plenty of time for them to get it together, especially with the expanded postseason system.

Since the start of the 2020 season didn’t hit until after the would-have-been All-Star break, we didn’t get a chance to see which Rays player might have made it in (ahem, Choi), or witness the general giddy and joyful display that is the ASG.

With that in mind, we thought it might be a fun exercise to play with our dream MLB All-Star lineup, but with a bit of a twist. First: all the players you select MUST be retired. No active players allowed. Second: you cannot pick a player that was on your favorite team at any point.

Using the list below, copy it and head over to the FanPost section, then select “New FanPost” on the left, and use the template to tell us what your dream MLB All-Star team “Classic Edition” looks like.
