Rays Playoffs: How to watch the Wild Card round

Today is the day!

On Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Rays will take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the Wild Card round of the 2020 MLB postseason, kicking off a best-of-three series at Tropicana Field.

Prior to the first game, Fox Sports Florida will have their usual Rays Live! pregame show at 4:30 p.m. EST and a Rays Live! postgame show slated for 8:00 p.m., with a couple of half hour previously aired Rays All-Access half hour programs (MLB Draft Edition & Grounds Crew) scheduled in if time allows.

GAME 1

  • First Pitch: 5:07 p.m. EST
  • TV: TBS
  • Radio: ESPN Radio, WDAE

The first game has its first pitch slated for 5:07 p.m. EST and will be covered on TV by TBS. Meanwhile on radio, the game will be covered by both the Blue Jays and Rays local radio stations and nationally on ESPN Radio.

Blake Snell, the 2018 American League Cy Young, will go to the hill for the Tampa Bay Rays and will be opposed by Matt Shoemaker of the Toronto Blue Jays.

The second game is scheduled with a 4:07 p.m. EST first pitch on Wednesday and will receive all of the same broadcast coverage. This matchup will be started by Tyler Glasnow for the Rays and Hyun Jin Ryu for the Blue Jays.

GAME 2

  • First Pitch: 4:07 p.m. EST
  • TV: TBS
  • Radio: ESPN Radio, WDAE

The third game’s start time, if needed, will be on Thursday and is slated to feature Charlie Morton facing off against Taijuan Walker.

The first two games and then the third, if needed, will all take place at Tropicana Field.
