On the first Rays Your Voice of the offseason, I am joined by Danny Russell to reflect on the ALDS. We talk about what went wrong, and what breaks just simply went the Red Sox way, and how we feel about the 2021 season as a whole.
While the Braves and Astros will compete for a World Series over the next week and a half, we begin to turn our attention to the offseason and debate what the Rays will do with some of the core pieces from this season. Has Kevin Kiermaier played his last game with the team? Will Mike Zunino’s $7 million club option be picked up? What should the Rays do with sidelined ace, Tyler Glasnow? Lastly, we both ‘Rays’ our voices and debate whether or not Rays fans should be comfortable if the team decided to run it back in 2022 with mostly the same roster.
There will be tons of great content coming from the DRaysBay Podcast Network throughout the offseason. If you enjoy our shows, rating and reviewing our Podcast Network on your preferred podcast platform is the best way to spread what we do to more and more Rays fans.
