Rays Your Voice: Under the Radar Storylines, with Jamal Wilburg

We’re officially in the dog days of Spring Training, and while the initial novelty of these exhibition games may have worn off, there are plenty of storylines developing that will run throughout the 2021 campaign. Jamal Wilburg joins the show this week to talk about some of those stories in Rays camp and around baseball.

We know the race to win the NL West between the Dodgers and Padres is going to be intense, but what about baseball’s less glamorous divisions? There is a lot of hype surrounding the Toronto Blue Jays, who added George Springer and Marcus Semien this winter, but is their pitching staff good enough to make them real contenders in the American League? Closer to home, will we see a new reliever join the “Stable” this year, taking a similar path as Pete Fairbanks did a year ago?
