Rays Your Voice: Minor League Baseball is back, It’s time to make a decision on Yoshi

For the first time since 2019, we’ve got minor league box scores to look at, and plenty of highlights throughout the Rays’ four affiliates. It’s always fun to keep an eye on your team’s top prospects, and even more so when your team has the consensus #1 farm system in baseball. In this episode, as I’m sure I’ll do throughout the season on Rays Your Voice, I go over some of the early numbers from players that could be seen in the big leagues sooner rather than later.

Since I’m riding solo for this episode, I ‘Rays’ my own voice about Yoshi Tsutsugo, a player that I bought stock in all offseason, believing he was poised for a big breakout year. His struggles that began in 2020 have continued, and gotten even worse statistically. As guys start to get healthy, and the aforementioned prospects get closer to Major League-ready, the Rays might need to make a decision on Tsutsugo as early as this week.
