The Rays smacked the Orioles 9-3 last night, but that isn’t why the game was important. Last night was historic because the broadcast team was made up entirely of women. By all account, the reviews were positive.

For me, the best part was they seemed to genuinely love baseball. Also, there were no grumpy old men whining about how baseball today isn’t how it used to be in the good old day.
Also of note was Sarah Langs nailing Snellgate.
Uh oh, stats queen Sarah Langs said (correctly) that taking Snell out wasn’t the wrong move in the World Series. This will really get them going.

(In case you missed it, she said pulling Snell was a good decision and also how the Rays operate. The questionable part of the decision, she said, was going to Anderson, who had not looked good throughout the playoffs. Which as all DRB readers know, is the only correct take.)
The only downside was our own Tricia Whitaker being denied the opportunity to join the party.
Today’s wrap up game is at 12:10. Don’t miss it!
Ji-Man Choi continues to be amazing.
In an interview with the Korean media, Choi said he sent Zombro flowers and cards. He said he couldn't go in person, but wanted to do anything for Zombro. Classy and sweet. #Rays pic.twitter.com/DgfHrNjVyo

Look for Luis Patiño to be active against Cleveland.
The Rays have added RH Luis Patiño to the taxi squad for today's game and anticipate him to be active tomorrow, starting the series opener in Cleveland.
