This was a fun one. With less than a week to go before the July 30 trade deadline, the Rays are still in the thick of the rumor mill, even after trading for Nelson Cruz. No way they can land Max Scherzer too, right? Maybe they can, and maybe Tampa Bay is the stop Scherzer wants to make before hitting free agency this offseason.
