The game’s number one top prospect Wander Franco is getting the bobblehead treatment courtesy of FOCO.
FOCO will be producing 221 versions of the awesome bobblehead, with plans to officially launch the item to commence at 10:00 A.M. EST, on Thursday, August 5th. The bobblehead depicts Franco during his highly anticipated big league debut with Tropicana Field serving as the base. Meanwhile, the classic Devil Rays logo stands a backdrop behind the wunderkind.
Franco has been the game’s top prospect since the halfway point of the 2019 season when he was just 18 years old, earning the most glowing reviews from the game’s top pundits. During his ascension to the big leagues, Franco owned a minor league line of .332/.398/.536 with 27 HR over 945 plate appearances.
Franco made his eagerly awaited big league debut in June and electrified the baseball atmosphere as he launched a game typing three run homerun in the 5th inning. Upon returning to the dugout, Franco received a rare curtain call from those in attendance at a raucous Tropicana Field.
Thus far, the 20 year old Franco has appeared in 32 games in the big leagues and is hitting .244/.302/.394 with 3 HR over 139 plate appearances.
