The first couple of weeks of the season may feature teams having to juggle rosters, especially pitching staffs, due to the short prep time.
Is this an advantage for a team that does such juggling as a matter of course, plans to do it all season, and has the book on results from prior seasons? One would hope so.
In a close race, "stealing" two or three early games by being in familiar territory while the the other guys are experimenting is worth something.
