Of the 18 hitters on Baseball America's top-30 list for the Rays, 11 did not play Sunday. That includes injured players such as Ryan Brett and Justin O'Conner, but if it seems like the notable performances section seems a little light, there you go.

Triple-A Durham Bulls (14-17)

Catcher Mayo Acosta got the win, and catcher Carlos Corporan's two-run homer ended Durham's marathon 6-4 win over Norfolk in 13 innings. After seven solid innings from starter Adam Wilk, Mark Sappington and Tyler Sturdevant tossed scoreless innings of relief, and Parker Markel lasted three innings with one run allowed before Acosta made his first appearance on the mound since 2014. He got out of a bases-loaded jam to set up Corporan's game-winning dinger. Jake Goebbert's solo shot tied the game in the 11th, and Nick Franklin also went deep.

Double-A Montgomery Biscuits (16-13)

Matt Lollis got revenge on his old organization with two scoreless innings in Montgomery's 6-4 loss to Birmingham in 10 innings. The big righty, who pitched 137 1/3 innings for the Biscuits over two seasons, retired all six batters he faced as the Barons scored twice against Brett Marshall in the 10th. Starter Chris Kirsch allowed four runs in six innings, and Jake DePew hit his second home run.

Class-A Advanced Charlotte Stone Crabs (16-14)

It took 13 innings, but Charlotte outlasted Palm Beach, 7-5. After falling behind 3-0, the Stone Crabs scored five straight runs before Palm Beach evened the game in the ninth. The teams remained tied through three extra innings, but in the 13th, Jace Conrad's clutch two-out triple gave Charlotte the two-run lead. Starter Chris Pike allowed three runs -- two earned -- with five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings, and Edwin Fierro picked up the win with three strikeouts in two scoreless innings of relief.

Class-A Bowling Green Hot Rods (16-14)

Bowling Green was off.
